Responsible for the daily coordination of the local field service team and the order execution of local site works. From project start to the handover to the customer. Raise information and assist during the bidding process.

  • Disciplinary lead of all local Field Service Engineers in a matrix organization. Close alignment with European Field Service Manager.
  • To carry out the technical, administrative and scheduling of new installations, maintenance and service activities on Turbomachinery equipment for Field Service personnel.
  • Give input and/or calculate quotations for service, shutdowns, troubleshooting, new installation and commissioning.
  • Draw up the specifications for any needed site subcontractors for installation/commissioning personnel.
  • Evaluation of subcontractors quotation and select qualified subcontractors for Field work all in collusion with the European Field Service pool.
  • Coordination & communication among all parties involved in the field service activities. Arrange and lead the kick-off/pre-installation meeting as well as follow up site inspections.
  • Coordination, communication and knowledge exchange among all parties involved in local Field Service activities. Lead technical customer meetings and follow up with parties until handover to customer.
  • Arrange, review and compile all the necessary documentation and work instructions for the Field Service staff to complete planned activities safely, including Risk Assessments and HSE assessments.
  • Arrange with Global Organization for Field Service staff exchange.
  • Arrange for the necessary repairs, spare parts, consumables, tooling, lifting and other needed equipment.
  • Arrange and perform the briefing and the de-briefing meetings with the delegated Field Service personnel.
  • Technical & administrative support of the Field Service personnel during their site assignments.
  • Visit work sites regularly, support and coach Field Service Engineers during job and optimize processes.
  • Support sales and participate in customer visits for OEM and Omnicare business regularly.
  • Ensure that all work done in the field is clearly reported and documented.
  • Cost control and financial completion for each Field Service project.

  • Graduate from Senior High School or graduate from Apprentice training or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Very good knowledge of Rotating Equipment (steam turbines, compressors and expanders)
  • Experience in reading drawings, technical documents, instructions, sketches/explanation of details and cross sectional drawings.
  • Excellent skills set required in areas such as communication, contract negotiation, legal implications of terms and conditions and project management at the most senior level of customer;
  • Fluent in spoken and written English, additional foreign language are advantageous
